  1. Welcome Reese, Thank you for joining us, we love your single Night’s Freak. It’s a beautiful groovy track. Could you tell us about how it first came about ? REESE: Since I travel a lot, a guy I was dating mentioned that he doesn’t know where I am when I get off my flights. I thought it was funny he mentioned infidelity whenever I’m on vacation so I just made it into a song. Also I was heavily inspired by R. Kelly’s (trapped in the closet) story telling.

2. What do you hope listeners take from the song, are there expectations from this release? REESE: I hope people thoroughly enjoy the song and just vibe to it. It has a very sexy feel and repetition to it that I think it can easily get stuck in your head.

  1.  You’ve come a long way from your early days , tell us who were some of the artists you grew up watching, did any them inspire your current sound ?

REESE: Some of the artist I grew up watching was Toni Braxton, Beyoncé, Brandy, Anita Baker, a lot of male artists such as Dru Hill, Aaron Hall, Next, and etc. I love 90s male RnB especially

  1. Now with your current project, would you say your style has evolved and grown over time ? REESE: Yes I’d say with each project I see the growth in not only my sound but my writing skills have evolved and I just can’t wait to explore more sounds on future releases.

  1. If you could work with any artist / producer on an album who would you work with and why ?

REESE: I would love to work with Tank and Tayla Parx. It’s like the best of both worlds because Tank is a phenomenal RnB writer and Tayla has created incredible pop records. Those will have to be my two favourite genres.

  1. Lastly, you’ve had a brilliant year so far with your work steadily rising in popularity what can your fans watch out for from you. Could you expect a live show, music videos, a short film or something like that coming soon ? REESE: Yes! I plan on doing an intimate live show for my YouTube where I perform songs from my “Maybe I am Toxic” series as well as upcoming music videos. So make sure to subscribe to my channel to stay in the loop. I’m going to have merch giveaways as well! To find out more keep updated and follow Reese on Instagram
