1) Welcome back Bubunae . You just released your new single Waiting. Could you tell us more about it how did it come about?
Bubunae : Thank you. Well, this song is pretty much about how I always try to wait for the perfect time to do things especially when it comes to my art. I feel like it has to be perfect and sometimes I overthink it. So this song is me just talking about how I realized I just have to do it now and not wait. It's kind of cliché to say but tomorrow is not promised.
2) What was the inspiration behind your project, did you take inspiration from other artists or groups out there?
Bubunae: The song was inspired by my life experiences really and my current state of mind. Big shouts to the producer Your$truly. He carved the sound and I just did my thing in there.
3) You’ve spoken before about almost not putting out the single, what were your thoughts and why was there such hesitation ?
Bubunae: Pretty much I thought it wasn’t good enough so I just decided not to put
It out but I’m glad I did. The reception has been great and the people are
resonating with the message.
4) What do you hope fans and listeners take from your project. what do you want them to feel and learn?
Bubunae : This song is to my listeners who are over thinkers like me. I want them to know that it’s definitely good to think things through but there’s no gain in overthinking what we want to do. Take the step and even if you make a mistake you will gain some wisdom from it and it will guide you.
5) What advice would you give upcoming creatives coming up who want to start a career in the entertainment industry?
Bubunae: Just go for it and don’t be discouraged if you’re not seeing the numbers. I feel like once you're putting out quality material it’s only a matter of time and your fanbase will grow and people will start to notice you. Keep shining your light and have fun with it
6) Finally, What’s coming up next from you this year, more projects, some music videos or maybe some live events coming up?
