1. Congratulations on the release of your EP, How did the project come about?
LIAMAR : I wasn't really planning on making a project for real... I just had a couple of songs and figured they'd sound well together as a project or whatever, then I recorded a few songs to add and make it sound more like a full project.
2. You feature 9 tracks on your EP. what was it like coming up with these songs, were they songs that you saved from previous times or fresh ideas ?
LIAMAR: Some were fresh ideas and some were ideas I've had for a while but only recorded recently... and making this was fun and hard as hell, there were a few ups and a whole lot of downs.
3. What was the inspiration behind the EP, what story are you telling through it ?
LIAMAR : The name of the tape is Meraki, and that is a Greek word which means to do something with soul, creativity, or love... to put something of yourself in your work, and that's how I've been doing this sh*t for real... I love this sh*t.
4. What do you hope listeners gain from listening to the music and what is your message to new fans ?
LIAMAR: I hope they just appreciate the art for what it is, and I hope it inspires people to do what they do at the highest level possible.
5. There are a lot of tracks to choose from, what is your favourite track on the EP and why ?
LIAMAR : Track 7, UIT and that's because I love singing and the message in there for real.
6. Lastly, what was it like working with the producers on the project and what's next for you, any live shows coming up or music videos?
LIAMAR: Working with Cre8, Smitty and Jabok is so fun... they really make things easy for me. New music and videos on the way.
