SBX wows her fans with sultry new dance pop single , They Say [REVIEW]

The talent, style, poise and grace of SBX is bold and true. It's been a triumph for the South African singer and songwriter. From her previous EPs These Songs Are About You 1 and 2 which propelled the eclectic artist into the spotlight in recent years. The epic bangers just keep on coming from the Pretoria native whose presence has been felt over here in the UK.

Despite her two year career in showbiz. SBX is not your average R&B star. Her music has never been tween-friendly chart-bait – instead, she emerged with a strain of sophisticated and elegant R&B that you’d love and appreciate.

On the previous project Now That It's Over SBX doubled down on this mode, matching sumptuous harmonies with intricate beats. In service to her impeccable cool and class, SBX swerves big choruses and obvious melodies, and exercise restraint when diverting away from their signature style. Instead of pop sugar-hit or arresting experimentation.

They Say is irresistible, sparkling new pop in the time-honoured sense. Real magic is in its every fibre; impudent, strutting beats and rhythm that convey an attitude... and lip-curling vocal delivery that's a cut above. Speaking more about the song SBX commented on the track saying

" They Say is a 3 minute sultry and electrifying dance track that addresses any rumours and opinions people might have about her and her personal relationships. In this song, SBX sings directly to her love interest, dispelling the rumours whilst prompting the naysayers to mind their business. This song stands as the official beginning of what has been dubbed as her "metamorphosis" and "new era".

Now the rising R&B sensation shared a brief preview into the sounds and energy of her brand new hit song which has been gaining heavy radio play all across South Africa and into the UK.

In this exclusive video special SBX features in a glitzy dress surrounded by flashy and vibrant stage lights and silvery decorations as she dances around and sings the main chorus to her song They Say. The 45 minute preview is a testament to the overall glam, uptempo pop gloss that the song holds and is bound to get listeners on their feet.

Following the successes of her last RnB EPs, S B X continues her reign as one of South Africa's most exciting musical acts by diversifying her catalog, proving her to an eclectic artist with the potential of competing on the global stage.
